QSE starts Monday in red zone

Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) retreated by 0.67% or 71.65 points to reach 10,649.50 points by 10:25am Doha time on Monday.

The real estate segment led six decliners with a fall of 0.81%, dragged by Barwa which fell by 8.06% to be the top loser.

Meanwhile, the goods sector went up 0.32% on the back of Medicare which rose by 4.49%.

Liquidity reached QAR 134.5 million, after trading volume stood at 3.9 million shares that were exchanged through about 1,300 deals.

General Insurance was the most active stock on which 1.03 million shares were exchanged at liquidity of QAR 42.04 million, rising 0.49%.
