Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange's (QSE) benchmark index lost 62.65 points, or 0.61%, to close at 10,350.35 points in the week ended 3 January 2019.
Market capitalisation grew by 0.55% to QAR 591.16 billion ($163.19 billion) from the previous week.
The transportation sector inched down 0.08%, while the Insurance sector soared 6.75%.
The real estate, consumer goods, telecommunication, and banking sectors went up 2.4%, 1.66%, 0.89%, and 0.27% respectively.
Over the week, the market’s trading volume reached 30.03 million shares, while liquidity hit QAR 663.31 million.
