Doha – Mubasher: The main index of Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) opened Wednesday’s session with a fall of 0.36% or 35.5 points to the level of 9,832.44 points by 9:50 AM Doha time.
Trading volume reached 176,000 shares exchanged at QAR 5.58 million through 156 transactions.
The banking sector was the worst performer after dropping 0.6^ as Masraf Al Rayan topped losers by falling 1%.
The real estate sector also declined 0.25%, while the consumer goods and services sector leapt 0.28%.
Dlala Holding topped gainers by rising 3.2% to QAR 24.89.
Gulf International made the highest trading activity with 83,100 shares exchanged at QAR 3.05 million. The stock rose 0.7%.
The index closed Tuesday’s session rising 0.52% or 51.19 points to 9,867.94 points.
