Mubasher: The benchmark index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) ended Monday in the green zone after increasing 0.84% or 79.41 points to reach 9,579.16 points.
The telecoms sector rose 2.49% as Vodafone Qatar and Ooredoo grew 4.19% and 2.16%, respectively.
The real estate sector levelled up 1.71% after Ezdan Holding Group gained 2.27%.
The banks sector increased 0.76% as Qatar Islamic Bank (QIB) went up 2.59%.
Vodafone Qatar’s stock was the most active in terms of trading volume with 4.80 million shares exchanged, generating QAR 43.04 million.
Trading volume rose to 9.9 million shares on Monday from 7.31 million shares on Sunday, while liquidity increased to QAR 231.5 million from QAR 194.6 million.
Earlier on Monday, the QSE’s main index grew 0.32% or 30.37 points reaching 9,530.12 points.
