Doha-Mubasher: The Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) maintained a positive performance on Tuesday, gaining 0.92% or 108.01 points to reach 11,787.71 points.
Al Rayan Islamic index gained 0.83% to reach 4,579.14 points, whereas QE All Share index added 0.76% to stand at 3,148.4 points.
Trading volume reached 4.18 million shares exchanged through 3,007 transactions, with turnover of QAR 200 million ($54.85 million).
The insurance sector topped risers after adding 2.08%, while the telecom sector was the only decliner after inching down 0.74%.
The banking and financial services gained 0.82%, backed by Commercial Bank of Qatar (CBQ) which advanced 3.05%.
The real estate sector levelled up 1.32% due to a 1.85% rise in Barwa Real Estate.
CBQ increased 3.05% to be the best performer, while Dlala Brokerage and Investment Holding led losers after falling 3%.
CBQ was the most active company with trading volume reaching 779,000 shares valued at QAR 44.83 million.
