Mubasher: The Qatar stock exchange (QSE) closed Tuesday’s trading session in positive territory, supported by the growth of four sectors.
The general index rose 0.27%, or 27 points, to finish the mid-week session at 9,817.07 points.
The bourse’s turnover amounted to QAR 184.18 million after 4.87 million shares were traded through 2,609 transactions.
The industrial sector topped the QSE’s gainers adding 1.03%.
On the flipside, the goods and services headed the bourse’s losers falling 0.5%.
By the end of the session, Industries Qatar’s stock, which levelled up 0.51%, led the QSE in terms of liquidity with QAR 46.67 million, while Gulf International Services’ stock, which jumped 3.25%, spearheaded the market in terms of trading volume with 1.02 million shares.
