Doha – Mubasher: The main index of the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE) ended 0.24% or 24.84 points lower at 10,485.04 points on Monday.
Liquidity tumbled to QAR 236.8 million on Monday against QAR 550.9 million on Sunday, while the traded volume rose to 7.85 million shares against 7.41 million shares.
The banks sector lost 0.45% led by National Leasing Holding Company with 1.88%.
The industrials edged down 0.19% due to the drop in Industries Qatar and Qatari Investors Group by 0.72% and 0.65%, respectively.
The transportation sector weighed down 0.62% as Qatar Navigation dropped 0.67%.
On the other hand, telecoms gained 1.07% as Ooredoo rose 1.26%, while real estate increased 0.35% as Ezdan Holding went up 0.82%.
Vodafone Qatar’s stock topped in terms of traded volume with 1.71 million shares, as Barwa led in terms of value with QAR 33.33 million.
