Doha – Mubasher: Qatar First Bank (QFB) reported a 367.8% year-on-year hike in losses for the third quarter of 2017.
Net loss amounted to QAR 62.92 million ($17.28 million) in Q3-17, versus QAR 13.45 million ($3.69 million) in Q3-16, according to the Qatar Stock Exchange (QSE).
The bank achieved losses of QAR 139.6 million in the first nine months of 2017 from QAR 3.38 million in the prior-year period.
Loss per share stood at QAR 0.7 in the nine-month period ended 30 September 2017, compared to QAR 0.02 in the year-ago period.
QFB had previously posted losses of QAR 76.68 million in the first half of 2017 from QAR 16.83 in H1-16.
