Mubasher: Russian president Vladimir Putin said Friday that his government has received payment from the Qatar Investment Authority (QIA) and commodities trader Glencore for a stake in Rosneft.
The ownership stake will positively impact the oil giant's management, Russian news media reported, citing Putin as saying in his end-of-year news conference.
It was earlier announced that QIA and Glencore were to acquire a combined stake of 19.5% in Rosneft, at a total value of $11.3 billion.
