Cairo - Mubasher: Passenger car sales in Egypt declined by 3.9% year-on-year (YoY) to around 19,700 units in November 2021 from nearly 20,500 cars during the same month in 2020 and compared to nearly 19,300 items in October 2021.
Sales of busses hiked by 45.4% YoY to above 3,000 units last November, and by 24.6% compared to October figures.
Truck sales rose by 11.5% YoY to approximately 3,900 units, according to a report by the Automotive Marketing Information Council (AMIC).
The strong performance of bus and truck sales resulted in an increase in total vehicle sales in November 2021 to about 26,700 units.
