Mubasher: Palestine Stock Exchange (PEX) managed to close in the green on Wednesday, breaking a three-session losing run.
Al-Quds index rose 0.53% or 2.53 points to reach 484.68 points, while the general index added 0.46% or 1.19 points to reach 258.17 points.
A total of 615,170 shares were traded through 179 transactions, with turnover of $890,460.
The investment sector gained 1.2%, followed by the banking and financial services at 0.86%. Also the insurance sector rose 0.59% and the services sector inched up0.06%.
Meanwhile, the industrial sector was the only loser after falling 0.16%.
Jerusalem Cigarette Company came on the top of rising stocks after adding 4.29% to JOD 0.73, while Birzeit Pharmaceuticals Company led losers after falling 1.86% to JOD 3.17.
