Mubasher: Ooredoo Kuwait reported a rise of 14.3% in profits during the second quarter of 2017 compared to the same period a year ago.
Earnings increased to KWD 10.37 million ($34.26 million) in Q2-17 from KWD 9.07 million ($29.96 million) in Q2-16, according to a bourse statement issued on Tuesday.
During the first half of 2017, Ooredoo achieved a rise of 20.8% in profits to KWD 23.3 million from KWD 19.28 million in the same half of 2016.
It is worth noting that the company’s profits in Q1 this year grew by 26.6% to KWD 12.93 million from KWD 10.21 million in Q1-16.
At the stock level, Ooredoo closed Tuesday’s session 0.69% lower at KWD 1.152.
