Oman cuts daily oil production by 45,000 barrels

Mubasher: Oman’s ministry of oil and gas announced on Monday that the Sultanate will reduce its daily oil output by 45,000 barrels.

The production cut is a result of the agreement reached by the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) with non-cartel countries, according to a statement.

Non-OPEC oil producers agreed on 10 December with the organisation on reducing the daily output by 558,000 barrels for six months starting from January 2017.
