Mubasher: Oman’s banking sector posted a 5.2% year-on-year rise in deposits to reach OMR 20.4 billion ($52.77 million) by the end of December 2016, according to a statement.
The private sector’s deposits increased 4.9% to OMR 13.3 billion.
The Central Bank of Oman (CBO) issued a tender of treasury bills worth OMR 32.77 million.
