Cairo – Mubasher: Nozha International Hospital reported a 33.7% year-on-year profit increase during the first quarter of 2019.
Net profits amounted to EGP 13.55 million in the January-to-March period, compared to EGP 10.13 million in the year-ago period, according to a statement to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Sunday.
Meanwhile, revenues rose to EGP 50.87 million in Q1-19 from EGP 46.91 million in Q1-18.
The Q1 profit growth was attributed to increased activity revenues, driven by rising prices as well as higher interest rates on banking deposits.
For the full-year 2018, Nozha International Hospital logged EGP 43.13 million in profits, compared to EGP 36.26 million in the prior year.
