Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: SHUAA Capital has not yet reached a final decision regarding the acquisition of a stake in Global Investment House, chairman Jassim Alseddiqi said on Monday.
Global Investment House is currently undergoing difficulties, Alseddiqi told Al Arabiya TV, noting that SHUAA Capital is still negotiating the acquisition of the majority of Global’s shares.
Earlier on Monday, SHUAA said that it contacted shareholders of Global Investment House for the potential acquisition of a stake in the company.
As for SHUAA’s merger with GFH, the chairman said that his company has postponed its decision.
SHUAA Capital is seeking to acquire other companies in the financial services sector in order to broaden its expansions, Alseddiqi continued.
