Dubai – Mubasher: Nakheel broke ground on a new hotel worth a total value of AED 240 million at Ibn Battuta Mall, according to a statement.
This comes a month after the property developer has awarded a AED 184.5 million construction contract to Dubai-based Parkway International Contracting to build the hotel.
To be operated by Thailand’s Minor Hotel Group under the AVANI brand, the 375-room hotel is set to be delivered in 2019.
Last week, construction began at Nakheel’s 304-room Premier Inn hotel worth AED 176 million at Dragon City.
