Mubasher: National Petroleum Construction Company (NPCC) has reached a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with Petroleum Marine Services (PMS) to explore engineering, procurement, and construction (EPC) project opportunities in the oil and gas sector in Egypt and the region.
The agreement will benefit from the expertise of PMS in transportation and installation and NPCC's EPC capabilities in mega offshore projects namely the heavy lift and pipelaying, according to a recent press release.
The MoU was signed during the fifth edition of the Egypt Petroleum Show (EGYPS 2022), held on 14-16 February 2022.
The Group CEO of NMDC, Yasser Zaghloul, said: "For 2022 and beyond, we will continue to build on our expansion plans and explore new business opportunities and geographies, which will lead to creating a strong infrastructure based on expertise and knowledge across the industry value chain."
Meanwhile, the CEO of NPCC, Ahmed Al Dhaheri, commented: "We aim to provide the industry with the best EPC projects, driven by innovation and operational efficiency."
