Riyadh – Mubasher: The National Commercial Bank (NCB) on Sunday announced that it would distribute cash dividends to its shareholders at a total value of SAR 3.288 billion ($880 million).
The dividend percentage to the share book value is 11%, while the value per share is SAR 1.10, NCB stated.
Eligible shares after deducting treasury shares will reach 2.989 billion shares, the bank added in a filing to the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul), noting that the distribution was pending shareholder approval.
Shareholders entitled to the distribution will be those holding shares at the end of the general assembly meeting and registered in the bank’s records at the Company of the Depository Center (Edaa) by the end of the second trading day following the general assembly meeting date.
The board took the decision on Saturday, 22 December.
The general assembly meeting will be announced at a later time, NCB said.
NCB last closed Thursday in the red, shedding 1.05% to SAR 46.90.
