Cairo – Mubasher: Mubasher International Trade for Securities (MubasherTrade) came among the top five brokerage firms in terms of the trading value on the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) during May.
Mubasher came in the fourth position in May, making up 5.3% or EGP 2.73 billion of the total trading value through the exchange of 1.44 billion shares.
The Financial Brokerage Group topped the list with a turnover of EGP 7.37 billion, acquiring 13.5% of the total traded value, through the exchange of 521 million shares.
Hermes Securities Brokerage came in the second place with 9.5% or EGP 5.18 billion of total turnover, followed by the Commercial International Brokerage Company with EGP 3.26 billion, Beltone Securities Brokerage with EGP 2.6 billion, and Pharos Securities Brokerage with EGP 2.58 billion.
Pioneers Securities ranked seventh with a value of EGP 2.31 billion, followed by Arabeya Online Securities and Arqaam Securities Brokerage with EGP 2.21 billion and EGP 1.74 billion, respectively.
Sigma Securities Brokerage came in the 10th spot with a value of EGP 1.4 billion through the exchange of 731.9 million shares.
Since the beginning of 2021, Mubasher has acquired EGP 15.49 billion or 5.6% of the total turnover, landing the fifth position among the top brokerage firms.
