Cairo – Mubasher: Mubasher Capital Holding for Financial Investments has acquired, on 17 January, the foundational equity of Misr El-Kheir (MEK) Fund that has a variable interest rate.
Meanwhile, Mubasher Asset Management acts as the investment manager to supervise the fund’s stake acquisition.
Managing Director at Mubasher Asset Management, Osama Safwat, said: “Our strategy is focused on allowing investment for all investors, especially small enterprises. We have launched Du Invest as the first-of-kind product in Egypt and the region with more than 10,000 users to enable savings and investment plans starting from a monthly amount of EGP 500.”
Chairman of Mubasher Capital, Ehab Rashad, noted: “Acquiring this stake in MEK Fund has been part of the investment plans for 2022.”
Rashad added that Mubasher Capital intends to establish new investment funds over the coming period, including traditional investment funds for stocks, treasury bills (T-bills), and bonds, in addition to setting up investment funds in the fields of education and health.
