UAE - Mubasher: Mubadala Investment Company (Mubadala) has reached a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with Mumtalakat Holding Company (Mumtalakat), the Bahrain-based sovereign wealth fund, to explore co-investment opportunities.
Under the agreement, Mubadala and Mumtalakat will also exchange expertise and best practices to raise their investments and operational capabilities, according to a press release on Tuesday.
Commenting on the agreement, Mubadala’s Deputy Group CEO, Waleed Al Mokarrab Al Muhairi, said: "The agreement signed today will not only create a platform to enable us to explore mutually beneficial co-investment opportunities around the globe, but it will also facilitate knowledge sharing to strengthen our respective organisations’ investment platforms."
Meanwhile, Mumtalakat's CEO, Khalid Al Rumaihi, commented: "Our partnership with Mubadala not only strengthens our collective operational capacity but also bolsters historical ties, which supports our work in transforming the Bahraini economy."
