Mubasher: The African Development Bank (AfDB) has approved a $200 million loan for Morocco to finance the first phase of the support programme for the acceleration of industrialization, Morocco News Agency reported.
The bank also validated $50 million risk-sharing agreement for the Central Popular Bank (BCP).
The industrialization programme aims at promoting industrial investments and it is expected to increase the share of industry in Morocco’s GDP by 14% to 23% and create half a million jobs by 2020.
