UAE - Mubasher: Moro Hub, a subsidiary of Digital DEWA, has adopted Google Cloud’s Anthos, a hybrid and multi-cloud platform, in its first solar-powered Green Data Centre in the region, in partnership with Atos.
Google Anthos is created to enable cloud migration, application modernisation, multi-cloud, and hybrid cloud management, according to a press release on Monday.
This deployment will allow Anthos to be available locally in Moro Hub's Data Centre, offering a simple way to adopt a container-based cloud platform managed by Kubernetes, an open-source system for automating containerised applications.
Since 2019, Atos has been certified to run and provide Anthos certified servers to accelerate the adoption of the Google Cloud solution.
The Vice-Chairman of Moro Hub, Marwan bin Haidar, said: "Anthos is well-aligned with our vision to be the digital transformation hub of choice for our customers and partners. Anthos gives us an innovative multi-cloud and hybrid cloud app modernisation platform to build and deliver new services for our customers."
