Cairo - Mubasher: Misr Fertilizers Production Company (Mopco) recorded standalone net profits of EGP 655.49 million in the first half (H1) of 2021, an increase of 16% year-on-year (YoY) from EGP 565.38 million, the unaudited financial results showed.
The standalone sales grew to EGP 1.46 billion in the January-June period from EGP 1.17 billion in the same period a year earlier, the company said in a bourse disclosure on Sunday.
In the first quarter (Q1) of 2021, Mopco achieved consolidated net profits worth EGP 792.66 million, up from EGP 533.61 million in Q1-20, including minority interest.
Mopco posted standalone net profits of EGP 289.28 million in the January-March period, up from EGP 224.65 million in the year-ago period.
