Riyadh - Mubasher: The Saudi General Authority for Small and Medium Enterprises (Monshaat) has introduced the Academy Programme for Innovation and Entrepreneurship to develop the capability of SMEs and provide them with best business practices.
The three-month programme was launched in cooperation with the Professional Development Centre at Stanford University and King Salman Institute for Studies and Consulting Services and with the participation of 50 SMEs, according to a press release on Monday.
The programme focuses on corporate innovation strategies, market development, growth management, and SMEs scale-ups services.
Monshaat has introduced five scale-ups programmes to over 250 SMEs, as their number is rapidly growing across Saudi Arabia by about 1,000 every year.
The number of SMEs across the Kingdom records 7,000.
