Misr for Central Clearing, Depository reports 63% higher profits in 9M-22

Cairo – Mubasher: Misr for Central Clearing, Depository and Registry (MCDR) gained EGP 679 million in net profits during the first nine months (9M) of 2022, a 63% annual surge from EGP 417 million, Ahram Gate reported.

Net profit to total revenue ratio jumped by 59% in 9M-22, compared to 54% in 9M-21.

On the other hand, the expense-to-revenue ratio slid to 42% in January-September 2022 from 46% in the corresponding period a year earlier.

Return on equity (ROE) registered 43% in 9M-22, up by 6% when compared to 37% in the year-ago period.

It is worth noting that during the first half (H1) of 2022, Misr for Central Clearing, Depository’s net profits grew by 66% to EGP 420 million, compared to EGP 252 million in the same period in 2021.
