Ministry of Supply offers three investment opportunities worth EGP 5.5bn in Ismailia

Cairo – Mubasher: Egypt has offered three investment opportunities at a total value of EGP 5.5 billion in Ismailia Governorate, the First Assistant Minister of Supply and Internal Trade and Head of the Internal Trade Development Authority (ITDA), Ibrahim Ashmawy, said.

The projects include the establishment of a strategic warehouse at a value of EGP 4 billion as part of the national project for establishing strategic warehouses, Ashmawy added in a statement on Thursday.

Previously, nine local and foreign companies expressed their interest in investing in four warehouses in four governorates with investments of EGP 500 million.

Additionally, a commercial logistics area with an investment of EGP 1 billion will also be offered.

These projects are expected to create about 15,000 direct and indirect jobs, he added.
