Minapharm annual profits jump 45%


Cairo – Mubasher: Minapharm Pharmaceuticals announced an increase in its standalone net profits for 2015, along with the proposal of 2015 cash dividends, the comapny said. 

The company’s standalone net profits for 2015 rose 45.5% year-over-year to EGP64.6 million from EGP44.4 million.

The board of directors recommended paying out cash dividends at 45% of paid-in capital, or EGP4.5 per share, totaling EGP55.3 million.

In the first nine months of 2015, the company registered EGP85.26 million profits, compared with EGP49.58 million profits for 2014.

The pharmaceutical company invited its shareholders to convene on 11 April 2016 for assessing 2015 business activity.

The company operates with a paid-in capital of EGP122.9 million, distributed over 12.29 million shares, at EGP10 each.
