Doha-Mubasher: Qatar Navigation (Milaha) reported a 40.3% profit growth to QAR 136 million ($37 million) in the fourth quarter of 2015, compared to QAR 228 million ($62 million) in the same quarter of 2014, according to a bourse filing on Wednesday.
In the fiscal year 2015, net profits reached 1.095 billion ($300 million) as compared to AED 1.049 billion ($285 million) in the fiscal year 2014.
Earnings per Share (EPS) stood at QAR 9.63 in FY15, compared to QAR 9.23 in FY14.
The board recommended a 50% cash dividend or QAR 5 per share, totalling QAR 570 million.
The board also decided to invite the shareholders’ meeting to convene on 16 March. And in case of incomplete quorum, the meeting will be held on 22 March.
