Mercon Developments targets EGP 5.6bn investments in two years

Cairo – Mubasher: Mercon Developments aims to invest EGP 5.6 billion in its projects during 2021 and 2022 with plans to launch several commercial and administrative projects in the coming period. 

The property developer owns about 120,000 square metres (sqm) of land plots dedicated for commercial activities at a total value of EGP 5 billion, the Chairman, Samer El-Baick, said in a press conference. 

During the first quarter (Q1) of 2021, the company has launched a commercial project over an area of 6,000 sqm in New Cairo with an investment value of EGP 480 million, the Vice Chairman, Ahmed Embaby, stated. 

Mercon Developments also launched a commercial project in the Central Business District in the New Administrative Capital over an area of 4,000 sqm, Embaby added.
