Medlab Middle East 2023 sees record-breaking deals; more visitors expected in 2024

Mubasher: The 2023 edition of Medlab Middle East exhibition witnessed a record-breaking amount worth AED 1.90 billion that was secured by deals during the four-day laboratory showcase, organiser of the event Informa Markets announced.

Meanwhile, the 2024 edition will likely see a 20% increase in exhibitor numbers with estimates to attract more than 30,000 visitors and 900 exhibitors. It will feature representation from more than 180 countries and will have 12 country pavilions.

Medlab Middle East’s 23rd edition will take place at the Dubai World Trade Centre during 5-8 February 2024, featuring a new zone, Next Gen Medicine, to focus on the transformative potential of early disease detection and preventive medicine. This new show vertical will be in an exclusive partnership with Bahrain-based Express Med Diagnostics and Research.

Group Exhibition Director at Informa Markets Healthcare, Tom Coleman, said: “The laboratory sector stands as the bedrock of innovation and progress in the modern world.”

The Next Gen Medicine conference will have a space for 100 exhibitors and more than 1,000 delegates to attend to discuss genomics medicine, precision medicine, and healthcare longevity.

Furthermore, the 2024 showcase will feature key players in the laboratory industry such as Abbott, Sysmex, Biomerieux, and Beckman Coulter. This is in addition to BD, Illumnia, Eurouimmun, Randox, and Mindray among others.
