Riyadh — Mubasher: Marble Design Company recently issued an invitation to its shareholders to attend the Extraordinary General Assembly meeting (EGM) scheduled for 27 October 2026, according to a bourse filing.
The assembly agenda includes a vote on amending Article 2 of the company’s bylaws to change the official name of the firm from Marble Design Factory Company.
The shareholders will also vote on amending Article 21 regarding the powers of the Chairman, Vice Chairman, Managing Director, and Secretary.
Additional items for approval include the competition standards policy, amendments to the audit committee and nomination and remuneration committee charters, and the remuneration policy for board members and executive management.
Electronic voting on the agenda items will commence at 1:00 on 23 October 2026 and continue until the end of the meeting.
Eligibility is restricted to shareholders registered with the Securities Depository Center at the end of the trading session preceding the assembly.
According to Article 41 of the bylaws, the meeting is valid if attended by shareholders representing at least 50% of the voting shares.
