Riyadh - Mubasher: Makkah Construction and Development Company achieved SAR 162.20 million in net profit attributable to the shareholders during the first quarter (Q1) of 2026.
The quarterly profits were higher by 8.06% year-on-year (YoY) than SAR 150.10 million, according to the interim financial results.
Net sales jumped by 6.70% to SAR 251.40 million at the end of March 2026 from SAR 235.60 million in Q1-25. This increase was mainly driven by higher revenues from the commercial mall, along with higher revenues from the hotel and towers.
The earnings per share (EPS) grew to SAR 0.81 in Q1-26 from SAR 0.75 during the same quarter in 2025.
The Q1-26 net profits widened by 71.82% from SAR 94.40 million in Q4-25, while the revenues soared by 52.82% from SAR 164.50 million.
Last year, the net profits of Makkah Construction reached SAR 474 million, up 15.33% from SAR 411 million in 2024.
