UAE - Mubasher: Dubai-based Majid Al Futtaim has awarded AECOM, a US-based infrastructure consulting firm, a four-year contract to extend consultancy services to its Mall of Saudi development.
Mall of Saudi development is part of Majid Al Futtaim's SAR 16 billion Riyadh North, a master-planned landmark mixed-use development that includes nine hotels and branded residences, according to a recent press release.
Under the contract, AECOM will provide lead design consultancy for pre-contract and post-contract construction supervision for Mall of Saudi whose construction is set to start in the fourth quarter (Q4) of 2021.
Mall of Saudi is expected to house over 600 stores, the largest ski slope and snow park in the Middle East, and luxury hotels.
