Mubasher: The main index of the Muscat Securities Market (MSM) ended Wednesday 0.17% or 9.44 points lower to reach 5,423.17 points.
The services sector shed 0.1% as Oman Investment and Finance, Ooredoo, and Oman Telecommunications (Omantel) lost 0.99%, 0.79%, and 0.39%, respectively.
On the other hand, the industry sector rose 0.16% after Oman Fisheries gained 4.2%, whereas Al Hassan Engineering fell 4%.
The financial sector increased 0.1% as Oman ORIX Leasing grew 9.1%.
Traded volume rose to 31.67 million shares on Wednesday against 27.93 million shares on Tuesday, while liquidity reached OMR 4.47 million from OMR 3.7 million.
