Mubasher: The main index of the Muscat Securities Market (MSM) ended Thursday 0.2% or 10.83 points higher, reaching 5,403.14 points.
The sectors rose collectively, led by the services sector with 0.29% as Al Suwadi Power grew 3.9%.
The financial sector edged up 0.2% after HSBC Oman gained 3.2%.
The industry sector inched up 0.07% as Construction Material Industry increased 3.5%.
Traded volume fell to 14.46 million shares on Thursday against 25.62 million shares on Wednesday, while liquidity dropped to OMR 2.3 million from OMR 3 million.
Al Madina Investment Co led in terms of trading volume with 3.8 million shares exchanged, while Ooredoo was the most active stock in terms of traded value with a turnover of OMR 674,900.
