Mubasher: The benchmark MSM 30 index of the Muscat Securities Market declined at Wednesday’s open by 0.11% or 5.9 points to the level of 5,471.81 points.
By 11:06am Muscat time, 2.6 million shares were exchanged at OMR 640,180 through 108 transactions.
The services sector dropped 0.17% due to a fall of 1.34% in Omantel and 0.63% in Ooredoo Oman, and the financial sector shrank 0.03%.
On the other hand, the industrial sector rose by 0.1% as Oman Fisheries led the green list by adding 1.72%, while Al Jazeera Steel Products was the worst performing stock after falling by 1.79%.
