Mubasher: Oman’s MSM 30 index declined at Monday’s close by 0.1% or 6.11 points, reaching the level of 5,852.3 points.
Trading volume increased to 30.06 million shares from 26.13 million shares exchanged on Sunday. Turnover also rose to OMR 6.81 million from OMR 4.89 million.
The services sector fell 0.19%, while the industrial and financial sectors advanced 0.33% and 0.3%, respectively.
Port Services Corp topped gainers after rising 9.67%, while Muscat Thread Mills led decliners after falling 8.74%.
Bank Nizwa was the most active stock in terms of trading volume with 8.45 million shares, whereas Omantel made the highest turnover of OMR 1.28 million.
