Cairo – Mubasher: Madinet Nasr Housing and Development (MNHD) on Sunday said it has hired EFG Hermes and Zaki Hashem & Partners Law Firm as the company’s advisors for the potential merger and acquisition transaction with Sixth of October for Development and Investment (SODIC).
MHR & Partners in association with White & Case LLP and CI Capital have been appointed as advisors to SODIC, MNHD highlighted in a filing to the Egyptian Exchange (EGX) on Sunday.
The advisors, along with the top management of both companies, have held a meeting to discuss available options for the possible collaboration and the mechanisms of implementing one of these options, according to the filing.
SODIC had previously said it welcomed to enter preliminary negotiations with MNHD to discuss possible merger or acquisition.
