MIS appoints Al Moammar as Acting CEO

Riyadh — Mubasher: Al Moammar Information Systems Company announced that its board of directors has accepted the decision of CEO Abdullah Ghazi Al Ghamdi not to renew his employment contract due to personal circumstances.

Al Ghamdi will continue in his current role until his contract expires on 31 October 2026, according to a bourse filing.

Meanwhile, MIS board has appointed Vice Chairman Ibrahim Abdullah Al Moammar to lead the company’s executive management starting 1 November 2026.

The appointment of Al Moammar is for a period of six months or until a permanent CEO is selected, whichever occurs first.

Consequently, Al Moammar’s board status will transition from a non-executive member to an executive member on the same date.

The new Acting CEO holds a Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from King Saud University obtained in 1991. He has served as Vice Chairman of the board since 2008 and currently chairs several technology and medical systems firms.

Furthermore, AL Moammar’s previous experience includes a directorship at Edarat Communications and Information Technology from 2008 to 2019 and a general manager role at Electronic Maps Co. between 2008 and 2024.
