Riyadh – Mubasher: Al Moammar Information Systems Company (MIS) has signed an agreement worth SAR 1.2 billion with the Saudi Fransi Capital to design, develop, and manage data centres.
The contract duration stands at 16 months as of 4 July 2021, according to a bourse filing.
Both parties, through the proposed private investment fund, will establish six data centres of four MW each.
MIS will continue as the facility manager for the data centers for an initial period of 15 years.
Last month, the two parties concluded a binding memorandum of understanding (MoU) to set up the fund at a potential long-term size of up to SAR 3.5 billion.
