Riyadh – Mubasher: Leejam Sports on Sunday said that after its positive results for the third quarter of 2018, its board has endorsed the approval to distribute dividends to shareholders for the second and third quarters.
Leejam, which was listed on Tadawul in September, said it would distribute SAR 0.96 or a total value of SAR 50.225 million.
Percentage of dividend to the share book value is 9.59%, Leejam said in a filing to the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul), noting that the dividend distribution date would take place on 15 November 2018.
Dividend eligibility “shall be for the shareholders whose own shares on maturity Thursday, 1 November 2018 and registered with the Securities Depository Center Company (Depository Center) at the end of the second trading day,” the company added in its statement.
Earlier on Sunday, Leejam, which is a portfolio company of Bahrain-based Investcorp, reported a net profit after zakat and tax of SAR 126.23 million ($33.65 million) for the first nine months of 2018, a slight rise of 0.4% from SAR 125.71 million ($33.51 million) in the year-ago period.
