Riyadh – Mubasher: The board of directors of Leejam Sports Company (Fitness Time) appointed Ali Hamad Alsagri as the non-executive chairman of the company during a meeting held on Sunday, 12 May.
It also appointed Hamad Ali Al-Sagri as the non-executive vice chairman and managing director (MD) of the board, according to the company’s filing to the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) on Monday.
In addition, the board agreed upon the reformation of the Nomination and Remunerations Committee for the current term from 10 December 2018 to 9 December 2021.
“The Board will strive to achieve results in the best interests of the company, by carrying out their duties with diligence, due care, attention, and loyalty towards the management of the company,” the statement highlighted.
The company noted that the step will allow the board to safeguard the company’s interests and development, and maximise its value by adopting strategic initiatives that ensure the company maintains its position as a leader in the sports and fitness sector.
