Kuwait-Mubasher: Global Competitiveness Report 2015-2016 showed that Kuwait has jumped six positions to rank the 34th globally, and the 4th in the Middle East this year.
The annual report noted that the country still needs further efforts to be exerted to create a smoother and easier business environment, as well as reforming the judiciary and legislative atmosphere.
Qatar ranked the 14th globally and the 1st regionally, followed by the UAE and KSA which respectively came in the 17th and the 25th place globally.
Switzerland was placed the 1st, followed by Singapore and the US respectively.
