Kuwait’s non-oil exports shrink 27% in March

Mubasher: The non-oil exports in Kuwait decreased by 27% in March 2018 compared to the same month in 2017, according to recent data by the commerce and industry ministry of Kuwait.

Kuwait’s non-oil exports decreased to KWD 11.6 million ($38.5 million) in March 2018 from KWD 15.82 million ($85.5 million) in the comparative period of 2017.

On a monthly basis, non-oil exports grew by 36% in March 2018 when compared to KWD 8.5 million ($28 million) a month earlier.

The Arab countries got the biggest share from Kuwait’s non-oil exports by 65% or KWD 7.5 million, while the remaining countries acquired 35% valued at KWD 4.1 million.
