Kuwait - Mubasher: National International Holding (NIH) turned to profits in the second quarter of 2016, after posting losses in the same quarter last year, according to a bourse filing on Sunday.
Profits amounted to KWD 2.45 million ($8.07 million) in Q2-16 against KWD 108,900 ($358,800) in losses in Q2-15.
As for the first half of 2016, net profits reached KWD 2.72 million against a net loss of KWD 54,350 in the same period in 2015.
NIH’s stock closed Sunday on the Kuwait Stock Exchange (KSE) at 53 fils per share, with 135,000 shares traded at a total turnover of KWD 7,160.
