Mubasher: The price of Kuwaiti oil went up by 26 cents, according to the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC).
Kuwaiti crude oil registered $47.75 per barrel (pb) on Thursday after reaching $47.49 pb the day before, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.
Meanwhile, oil prices recorded a record high due to pledges by main OPEC producers to lower their exports, KUNA added, noting that the increase was also attributed to a sharp decline in US crude reserves.
Brent crude rose by 52 cents to $51.49 per barrel, while West Texas Intermediate (WTI) grew by 29 cents to $49.04
