Mubasher: Kuwaiti oil went up 95 cents on Friday, according to the Kuwait Petroleum Corporation (KPC).
The price of the Kuwaiti crude settled at $55.98 per barrel on Friday, after closing Thursday at $55.03 per barrel, Kuwait News Agency (KUNA) reported.
Oil prices in global markets also rose on Friday, due to a report of support by big producers to extend the agreement on reducing production led by members of the Organization of the Petroleum Exporting Countries (OPEC) and Russia.
