Mubasher: Kuwaiti banks are set to suspend operations on Wednesday and Thursday, 1 and 2 January 2020, on the occasion of the New Year’s Day, head of the Kuwait Banking Association’s general secretary Hamad Al Hasawi stated on Tuesday.
Banks will resume their work on Sunday, 5 January, Al Hasawi added in a statement.
It is noteworthy that Kuwait Civil Service Commission announced 1-2 January to be days-off in all ministries and public bodies in the country.
